| Lap joint flanges are used in those piping, which are fitted with the lapped pipe or with the lap joint stub ends. The lap joint flanges are highly suitable for those systems, which require dismantling for inspection and cleaning. Swivel flanges and align bolt holes have the ability in easing the erection of large diameter.
These lap joint flanges are similar to slip-on flanges with only difference i.e. they possess curved radius at the bore and face to accommodate a lap joint stub end. These are offered in full size range and are extensively used at all pressures. |
